Luminiscence is set to make its long-awaited UK debut this winter, transforming Manchester Cathedral into an extraordinary world of sound, story and light.
The historic space will be reimagined through a spectacular 360° projection experience, complete with new choral arrangements of iconic Manchester anthems performed live by Manchester Collective’s Gospel Choir.
Audiences will be guided through an atmospheric journey crafted by BAFTA-winning writer Tim Whitnall, with narration from legendary Mancunian actor Christopher Eccleston. Together, the music, storytelling and visuals breathe new life into the Cathedral, creating an immersive event like nothing Manchester has seen before.
