Stockport five-piece Blossoms, consisting of Tom Ogden, Charlie Salt, Josh Dewhurst, Joe Donovan and Myles Kellock, have announced their sixth studio album, โSongs From The Wedding Cakeโ, arriving on October 2nd via ODD SK / Distiller Records.
To celebrate the launch, the group will embark on a massive UK arena headline tour, the biggest of the band’s career. The tour features a highly anticipated local stop at Manchester’s Co-op Live on Saturday, 28 November 2026.
The band will be joined across all tour dates with very special guests, The Royston Club.
The Co-op Member presale and special album pre-order open at 9:30 am on Wednesday, 24 June 2026, with the general ticket sale opening at 9:30 am on Friday, 26 June 2026.

New Single Features Star-Studded Collaboration
The album announcement is accompanied by the release of brand new single ‘Meet Me In Love’ and its music video, directed by Tom and starring Maya Jama and Callum Scott-Howells.
Following the release of recent single โJoke About Divorceโ, โMeet Me In Loveโ offers another glimpse into the world of Songs From The Wedding Cake.
While its predecessor found humour in the kind of ill-judged comment that can emerge during an argument with your spouse, โMeet Me In Loveโ shifts the focus to romance, pairing an irresistible disco groove with one of the album’s stand-out moments.
The track also features backing vocals from fellow British songwriter and musician Declan McKenna.
Discussing the new single, โMeet Me In Loveโ, Tom says:
โMeet Me In Love was written on a songwriting trip to the Lake District with Natalie Findlay and Jules Apollinaire.
โAs often happens, it was the last day and weโd pretty much accepted that there probably werenโt any more songs left to write.
โWe started messing around with a simple two-chord disco groove and, within a couple of hours, the whole thing seemed to fall into place.
โItโs one of those songs that felt exciting from the moment it arrived.
โI remember driving home from the Lakes listening to the demo on repeat for most of the journey.
โWe later finished the recording with Shawn Lee at Tilehouse Studios, tracking live to tape, but a lot of what made us fall in love with the song in the first place came from that original demo, so plenty of those parts survived onto the final record.”
The accompanying video features a starring role from Maya Jama and arrives as the latest chapter in the visual world Blossoms are creating around Songs From The Wedding Cake.
Discussing the Meet Me In Love video Tom says:ย
โDirected by myself, the video for Meet Me In Love continues the world we first created in the video for Joke About Divorce, with Callum Scott Howells returning as our narrator.
โWe shot it on 16mm film at Chadโs Theatre in Stockport, which gave everything the same cinematic feel we loved from the previous video.
โAfter meeting Maya Jama at the MTV EMAs in Manchester a couple of years ago, we took a chance and sent her a DM to see if sheโd be interested in being involved.
โShe replied straight away saying she was up for it, and she was an absolute joy to work with. Together we created something that feels like a love letter to old Hollywood, 70s disco glamour and classic Top of the Pops performances.
โItโs colourful, romantic and a little bit surreal, which felt like the perfect visual for the song.โ
The album title takes its name from a Stockport nickname for the townโs iconic Victorian town hall, where Tom got married
