Dakota Hotel Group has opened bookings for its highly anticipated new hotel at Manchester Airport, unveiling striking new CGIs that offer a first look inside the boutique development ahead of its 1 July opening.
Positioned as “the destination before the destination”, the seven-storey, 84,000 sq ft hotel has been purpose-designed for travellers seeking a seamless, premium stay either side of their journey. The £55m development is progressing rapidly and will bring Dakota’s signature blend of understated luxury and exceptional service directly to one of the UK’s busiest international gateways.
The newly released CGIs showcase the hotel’s premium Bar and Grill, alongside the elegant interiors of the Classic King Rooms and Junior Suites. In total, the hotel will feature 154 bedrooms, complemented by a dedicated shuttle service to the airport terminals, on-site valet car parking and a range of refined spaces designed to enhance the guest experience.
Additional highlights include an al fresco Cigar Terrace and Humidor, private dining rooms, a dedicated Champagne Room and versatile event spaces, positioning the hotel as a sophisticated social and business destination in its own right.
The new Manchester Airport hotel will sit alongside Dakota’s established city presence at Dakota Manchester, further strengthening the brand’s footprint in the region. Dakota Hotel Group continues to be recognised for excellence across the industry, with multiple accolades including leading Tripadvisor rankings and being named one of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work in both 2024 and 2025.
As momentum builds towards the 1st July opening, Dakota Hotel Group will also begin recruitment for senior roles from January, offering opportunities to be part of the launch team at one of the brand’s most significant developments to date.
Matt Townley, Group Operations Director, said:
“Officially opening bookings for Dakota Hotel Manchester Airport marks a major milestone for the project and brings us another step closer to our highly anticipated launch. This development has been carefully designed to reflect the signature Dakota experience while responding to the needs of a highly connected, international location.
