Manchester alternative music fans are set for a massive autumn highlight as rock titans Good Charlotte bring their long-awaited world tour to Co-op Live on 20 November 2026.ย
Concluding the UK leg of their newly announced Motel Du Cap EU + UK Tour in the city, the multi-platinum band will perform at the venue with Yellowcard joining as support.
Tickets for the Manchester date go on general sale on Friday, 29th May at 10 am local time, following the regional Co-op presale, which opens on 27 May 2026 at 10:00 am.
The tour kicks off in Stockholm on Sunday, 8th November, with stops in Germany, Denmark, Belgium, the Netherlands and Paris, before concluding in the UK with shows in London at The O2 and at Manchesterโs Co-op Live.
Together with The Great Frog, Good Charlotte also unveiled a new collaboration with the cult British jewellery house and Painted Flowers, the Los Angeles- and Tokyoโbased creative collective founded by the Madden Brothers, in collaboration with Tadaaki Wakamatsu.
The capsule, comprising of a handcrafted silver ring and a long-sleeve T-shirt, launches today.
Arriving at the same moment as the band steps into this next chapter, the limited capsule brings together three distinct creative worlds – uniting music, design and visual identity through a shared language of craft, symbolism and subcultural influence.
Manchester Arena Set to Welcome Iconic Pop-Punk Pioneers After Seven-Year Absence
The upcoming indoor arena date positions the East Manchester venue as the primary destination for alternative music fans across the North of England, marking the band’s first live shows in the UK since 2019.
This weekend sees Good Charlotte close out Slam Dunk Festival, headlining the main stage! Slam Dunk is the UKโs biggest independent pop/punk, rock and alternative festival, and 2026 marks its twentieth anniversary, which is set to be their biggest yet!
Therefore, itโs very fitting that Good Charlotte, a band who are instrumental in helping shape the pop/punk scene in the early 2000s, is to play the coveted headline set.
These will be the first live shows that the four-piece have played in the UK since 2019, making Slam Dunk a highly sought-after event and absolutely not to be missed.
2026 has proved to be a triumphant year for Good Charlotte so far.
Alongside the exciting aforementioned announcements, the band recently wrapped up their huge sold-out Australian & New Zealand tour, kicking off the Motel Du Cap World Tour!
This Summer sees them head out on the road with Avenged Sevenfold across North America, with the dates culminating in LA at BMO Stadium, with A Day To Remember joining them. Released last August, Motel Du Cap is Good Charlotte’s eighth studio album and their first in seven years.
Written by Benji and Joel Madden, alongside Mattias Bylund, and produced by Zakk Cervini and Jordan Fish, Motel Du Cap marks the band’s return to their roots while pushing their sound into uncharted territory.
Massive Ticket Demand Anticipated for Regional Motel Du Cap Presentation
The high-profile performance serves as a major milestone for the regional live music calendar, utilising advanced venue capacity to accommodate heavy ticket demand from the wider metropolitan area.
Their electrifying return was marked by the album’s lead single Rejects, which they performed live on Jimmy Kimmel, followed up by Stepper. On album release day, Good Charlotte made their live debut of I Donโt Work Here Anymore on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
They also performed on Good Morning America Summer Concert Series, followed by a performance at LIV Golf Chicago. Benji and Joel also hosted a special fan event at the Blue Crabs baseball stadium in Waldorf, Maryland, just ahead of the release.
The band wanted to kick off album release week in their hometown, where Good Charlotte began. The Maddens met and took photos with fans, who were the first to hear the new album, Motel Du Cap, ahead of its official release.
Good Charlotte then performed at the One805LIVE! concert to benefit Santa Barbara County, first responders.
Later in the year, the band played at the Baltimore Ravensโ Halftime Show, and shortly after this, Benji and Joel performed an exclusive live set of tracks from their album Motel Du Cap at the GRAMMY Museum, and took part in a Q&A.
Ticket access includes Mastercard cardholder presales starting Wednesday, May 27 at 10 AM local time.
