O’Malleys and The Pen and Pencil Announce Parklife Festival Weekend Events and Guinness Giveaways

  • June 17, 2026
  • By Editor - Elliot Thompson

As music fans from across the North West, including large crowds travelling from Liverpool and Merseyside, prepare to head to Manchester for the annual Parklife festival, local venues have announced a series of themed events and promotions to capture the holiday atmosphere.

Portland Street venue Oโ€™Malleys has confirmed it will be extending its popular Guinness Bottomless Brunch until 8 pm on Friday, 19th June.

The extended offer is designed to serve as a pre-festival warm-up option, featuring live music alongside a 90-minute window of bottomless drinks.

In addition to traditional pints of Guinness, the beverage selection includes standard beers, ciders, and Prosecco, all served alongside a curated menu of traditional, Irish-inspired food.

Situated in close proximity to major public transport links, the venue provides a convenient meeting point for festival-goers commuting into the city centre before making their way to the main festival site.

Oโ€™Malleyโ€™s also stands out as the only Irish bar in Manchester to remain open until 4 am, catering directly to the late-night after-party crowd throughout the weekend.

Festival Pre-Parties and Extended Bottomless Brunch Hours

The weekend celebrations continue on Sunday, 21st June, when Oโ€™Malleys will allow stout enthusiasts to step behind the bar and pour their own pints.

The interactive activation doubles as a regional social media competition, offering participants the chance to win a yearโ€™s supply of Guinness.

To enter the contest, patrons must post a photograph or video of their custom-poured pint to social media platforms, tagging the venue’s official handle, @omalleysmanchester.

The final winner of the prize package will be announced via the venue’s digital channels following the conclusion of the festival weekend.

Interactive Competitions and Northern Quarter Nightlife Lineups

Alternative entertainment options are also locked in across the city centre to accommodate the influx of music tourists.

In the vibrant Northern Quarter, popular bar and kitchen The Pen and Pencil has announced its own dedicated festival schedule, locking in a series of live DJ sets across both Friday and Saturday nights.

The venue’s weekend lineup aims to provide a seamless transition for dance music fans looking to continue the celebrations once the main festival stages close for the evening.

With high footfall anticipated across the regional transit network and city centre hospitality spaces between 19th and 21st June, local operators recommend that groups travelling into Manchester from outer areas plan their journeys and reservations well in advance.
